Time to Let It Out!

After watching the video, I pray you are ready to take the bold step to walk out your purpose and dreams with me. I understand it can be scary.-totally new territory. I want you to know, however, it is possible and you can do this. We each hold a purpose we are designed to walk out. That purpose is a part of our destiny and legacy, and it paves the way for lives to be changed and impacted.  Living life to the fullest brings contentment, peace, and fulfillment, not to mention the blessings that flow.  However, life gets in the way and we stop fulfilling that purpose. Whether it is fear, listening to the criticism of others, laziness, busyness, a family tragedy, guilt, sickness, anger, or even bitterness, we have neglected ourselves in the process. If you have stopped dreaming, I believe God is working on your heart to reignite vision and desire. Christ wants us to know we can try AGAIN, start AGAIN, He can forgive us AGAIN, and we have the ability to dream AGAIN. Our dreams have a distinct purpose and appointed place. Time to let it out! Challenge

Buy a journal. Get acquainted with your dream again. Take this week to write down ALL the desires you once had and have. Do not let a single one fall through the cracks. You have to begin to see those things written out on paper, reciting them over and over until your heart and soul grab ahold of them and believe they are possible. Don’t worry about how it is going to get done or if you have the resources. Ultimately, nothing will get done if you don’t believe it first. This is the beginning for you…a start to greatness. Do not be afraid.

DAILY DEVOTIONS

Day 1

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.” Psalm 32:8 (Amplified)

Prayer Lord, please help us to cast away all fear of the unknowing. We are confident that when we take this first step, you will guide us and teach us along the way, never failing us. We also humble ourselves for you to take the lead.

Journal Jot down all of your fears. Why are you afraid to start? What is holding you back? After you have made your list, next to each fear write in boldBUT I WILL DREAM AGAIN. Continue to then write the amazing qualities you possess that will push you to pursue your dreams. You got this!

Day 2

“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” Philippians 1:6 (Amplified)

Prayer Lord, we are grateful you never leave us or forsake us. You don’t begin our journey with us to leave us for something more important. Instead, you love us so much, that you not only begin our journey with us, but see it through until the end of days.

Journal Jot down what your end result looks like in reference to your dreams. Is it standing in front of a crowd with a published book in your hands? Is it the daycare center you own? Is it the drawings you’ve created for an art gallery? See your end and know God will walk it all out with you from start to finish.

Day 3

“Brothers and sisters beloved by God, we know that He has chosen you.” 1 Thessalonians 1:4 (Amplified)

Prayer Jesus, you chose us! This means you handpicked us, desired us, wanted us, and kept us. You saw in us something special, something unique, and something to use for your glory. We set aside the feeling of insecurity and ask that you help us to become secure in you. Your plans for us never change.

Journal Take today to jot down what you love about yourself. What do you do that is unique? What’s different about you? What are your strengths? Meditate on those things and know it was God that designed all those beautiful qualities for a reason.

Day 4

“Now may the God of peace [the source of serenity and spiritual well-being] who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood that sealed and ratified the eternal covenant, equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 (Amplified)

Prayer Lord, we do not have to worry about how things are going to be accomplished or what resources we need. When we take a leap of faith, you promise to equip us with all we need to carry out our purpose and your plans for us.

Journal Write down a few things that you will need along the way in fulfilling your dreams. Will you need a team? Will you need a desk? Will you need a website of business cards? Grow in confidence that He will equip you with all you need.

Day 5

“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified)

Prayer Your plans for us, God, will not bring us harm. They will not hurt us. They will lead us to our great destiny and a place of peace.

Journal As hard as it is to believe, the obstacles you have in your life right now are for reason and for purpose. Although you are feeling pain, I promise you things are going to work out in the end. Take some time to write those struggles down. Even in the middle of those struggles, are you growing? Are you maturing? Are you learning valuable lessons? Be assured God hears you and will turn this around for the better.

Day 6

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call].” Romans 11:29 (Amplified)

Prayer No matter our mistakes, no matter our bad decisions, not matter our hiccups, your plans for us have not changed. Your gifts still remain. Thank you, Lord!

Journal Yep, you made some mistakes. Yep, you messed up. Write those down. Then erase them. On top of that erased mistake, write BUT MY GIFTS STILL REMAIN. Your mistakes are in the past and its time to look ahead.

Day 7

“Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth. 27 But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. 28 God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, 29 so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God.1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (Amplified)

Prayer People have called us names, looked down on us, didn’t believe in us, and might not have understood us. Lord, we will not allow those things to dictate how we feel about ourselves because we know you believe in us and are molding us into something profound.

Journal Write a brief letter to yourself from God. What do you believe He is trying to tell you?
